Personal Work – 100 Strangers: Oh Thank Heaven for 7-11

This 7-11 clerk is seriously the coolest i’ve ever met, she is super nice and kind, and is always up for a good laugh, even when me and my roommate Eric would head over to the store at 4am lol.

just had to share her awesomely funny portraits.

Tech Stuff:

camera: Canon 5D Mark II

lens: Canon 24-70mm f/2.8L at 24mm

f-stop: f/5.6

shutter: 1/30th just to make sure I was grabbing in enough ambient light

Lit with 1 Canon 430EXII shot into a Westcott 60” Umbrella.

Edited in Adobe Photoshop CS5.

Band Promos: Breathe Carolina – Warped Tour 2010

Got stopped by one of the guys at the Breathe Carolina tent while they we’re sitting through a signing session after their set at warped tour at the Gorge in George, Washington. Talked for a couple minutes and snapped a few of them signing and then asked if they we’re interested in doing a short promo shoot. They told me to meet them at the Press Area a bit later.

4:30 pm rolls around and I’m at the press area, and arrives the guys.

The guys didn’t have very long due to Of Mice And Men getting ready to start their set and Kyle was doing some special vocals for them. I had about 5-10mins to get the shot I wanted. Already had scouted out a cool little spot with these two large tour vans with a nice view of the bright blue sky behind them. I knew exactly what I wanted the shot to look like, and was obviously limited with the lighting I had on me due to the fact I was running around all day trying to shot live shots of as many bands as possible.

These guys saw the pictures and we’re stoked when they looked at my LCD screen for a preview straight from camera.

These guys we’re the 2 NICEST GUYS I talked to the entire day of being at Warped, I feel extremely blessed to got to of both hung out and chatted for a bit about how the tour was going for them, and to of also taken their promo which who knows, maybe will get used for something… ( with my permission of course! lol )

Vans Warped Tour 2010 in B&W: Promos, Performances, & Broken Noses

Dear GOD! I don’t even know where to begin with how my first experience with Warped Tour. I’ve never see so many drunk and passed out people so early in the morning! around 98degrees in the blistering heat of Eastern Washington at THE GORGE, couldn’t of felt any hotter.

Here are my favorite shots from through out the day.

The day for me was deffinately a success and extremely fun to see all the crazy stuff.. hang out with some super cool bands, but not only super cool bands but some seriously cool nice people.

Senior Portrait: Luke Trejo – Class Of ’11
